A Family Tradition: Laura Brooks Cantrell comes from a well respected real estate family. Her father served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force before starting his business in real estate. His strong emphasis on the first core value of the Air Force (Integrity First) inspired Laura to join the family firm in 1985. With Mr. Brook’s second retirement in 2000 – Laura was the natural choice to take over the family business. Established now as one of the few women-owned, full-service real estate firms in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, Ms. Cantrell joyfully carries on the family tradition by providing all types of real estate services to local, national and international investors.

Constant Evolution: As with changing times, came the time for Laura to evolve and so began Cantrell Real Estate in January 2018, and rely solely on her own distinguished reputation. We strive to better ourselves through education, training and sharing our knowledge with our clients, service providers, tenants and our colleagues. In addition, Laura has been able to mentor and provide internships to many students within the UAA School of Real Estate and Property Management. We believe that utilizing best practices, doing what’s right the first time and being responsible within our communities and our beautiful planet is our obligation and we’re honored to do just that – and more.
